Ornamental Apple Removal

This ornamental apple tree had its benefits being in good health and bearing attractive red fruit (strikingly similar to cherries) however those fruit which it was cultivated to display were unfortunately its downfall.

With a new white patio beneath the tree they soon started making quite the mess so the decision was made to remove the tree before permanent discolouration could occur. Being ever mindful to not drop anything solid on the new slabs, the tree was carefully dismantled and the trunk sectioned into logs ready for splitting and burning.

The stump was also ground out after removing a section of the weed membrane which was put back afterwards. The arisings were then raked over neatly and the patio hosed down.
